The purpose of the doctoral study programme Engineering Systems in Management is transfer of contemporary knowledge, methods and scientific techniques, used in modern European university centres in order to educate staff, specialists in certain areas, who would help social and economic development of Serbia, as well as the modernization of the country

One of the most important aims of this study programme is development of scientific competencies and academic skills in the field of Engineering systems in management, as well as the development of students’ abilities to deal with the problems in Engineering systems in management in the way which is recognizable within similar scientific fields, such as advanced technical systems, information technologies, changes management, programming systems for managing changes, programming systems for managing projects, engineering systems for decision support.

Upon completion of the doctoral study programme ENGINEERING SYSTEMS IN MANAGEMENT students obtain knowledge, skills, developed capabilities and competencies in order to:

  • independently solve theoretical and practical problems as well as organize and achieve developmental and scientific research
  • participate in the international scientific projects
  • develop critical opinion and perform creative and independent activities
  • professionally communicate when reporting scientific-research results; results verification through patents and new technical solutions
  • contribute to the development of the scientific skill and science in general
  • develop new technologies and methods within the profession and use and understand contemporary knowledge
  • behave in an ethical way
  • use information and communication technologies
